FAITH HOSPICE IN-PATIENT CARE

at Trillium Woods

Sometimes it’s not possible to provide care in the home and it may be necessary to consider a hospice inpatient facility. At Trillium Woods, you will find a family-centered atmosphere where you and your loved ones can make yourselves at home. Trillium Woods, the only facility of its kind in the Greater Grand Rapids area, is dedicated solely to serving the needs of hospice patients and their families. It offers 20 private rooms featuring convenient pullout sofas, private bathrooms, and peaceful balconies or patios. Trillium Woods also offers a nondenominational chapel for worship, prayer, or meditation.  Whatever the need, whether it’s a short-term stay that focuses on stabilizing symptoms so patients can return home more comfortably, a more long-term stay, or respite stays to relieve caregivers, Trillium Woods offers a peaceful, family-centered atmosphere with 24/ 7 care.

EXPERT AND COMPASSIONATE CARE

Trillium Woods is fully staffed with specialized physicians, nurses, aides, chaplains, and social workers—each specially trained and experienced in hospice care. As a hospice-only facility, our sole focus and expertise is in the care, comfort, and support of hospice patients and their families. All Faith Hospice staff also undergo specialty dementia care training from Dementia Institute to learn how to best communicate with, relate to, and care for patients living with a decline in brain function and thinking skills.

A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT

Trillium Woods offers 20 spacious private rooms with a convenient pull-out sofa and cozy seating, private bathroom, and a peaceful balcony or patio to keep both patients and visitors comfortable. With wooded grounds, outdoor spaces, and multiple sitting rooms with fireplaces, comfy furniture, a library, and kids play area, Trillium Woods provides tranquility and peace for our patients and their loved ones.

CHAPEL

Trillium Woods offers a non-denominational chapel for worship, prayer, or meditation. The chapel is available to patients and loved ones for services. Faith Hospice also offers a team of chaplains from various denominations to help tend to the spiritual needs of patients and their families.

The care that they're able to give to the patients, the comfort to the families and the fact that this relationship never ends is absolutely incredible.
