"Light Your World"
May you continue to be a beacon of hope and guidance in the lives of those you touch.
- I Corinthians 16:13-14
"Be watchful, stand firm in your faith; be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."

Faith Hospice recognizes the vital role that churches and faith communities play in providing spiritual, social, and emotional support to their congregations and to the local community. Hospice care is an extension of the faith community’s ministry to people facing a life-limiting illness. The Watchman Ministry™ (although trademarked as the Watchman Ministry™, is viewed as a ministerial opportunity in a more inclusive light, open to both women and men.)
Watchers serve as a liaison between the needs of the congregants in their own faith community and the services and programs that Faith Hospice can provide. The goal of the Watchman Ministry is to ensure awareness and understanding about Hospice through education and training. Each faith community is invited to identify at least one volunteer to serve as a Watchman within his or her congregation. Faith Hospice will provide ongoing education and information to prepare each Watchman Volunteer to be a knowledgeable spokesperson and to serve as a liaison between Hospice and the congregation.
